Google Glass: How does it feel wearing it?
Waited, waited and kept waiting. Till the day arrived!Last Friday, I finally got to try the Google Glass. And it was just as amazing as expected. The Google Glass feels really light. Despite the battery only being on one side, I couldn’t feel any imbalance of the product on my face / ears. The model I tried was kinda brown colored which is probably not the nicest color choice for glasses, but it remained very discrete as much for the others as for myself wearing it.
I’m insisting here on “top right”, as like you, my initial thoughts were to think that this part should be quite annoying – intruding my viewing angle. But not at all! It’s only intruding the very top-right of your eye-sight and it stays there. So when reading information or looking something up on glass, the data isn’t directly popping up in front of you, but at a convenient outskirt or your normal viewing angle.Well thought!
Google Glass: How to control it?
I was quite surprised by how good the voice command works. My English with a slight french touch worked out very well, and aside of a small glitch, the glass perfectly understood my commands.
Actually, It works as good as the voice search fonction on my Android phone!
Sadly I couldn’t keep it ><
Of course, these were not mine. So sadly, I could have a short play with it, but couldn’t keep them. Still, I have to admit that this experience was enough to convince me the the future will be made of wearable tech (even though I strongly believe that voice control will remain awkward for some more time).
So what do you think? Wanna try?
Will the future be: Glass-like wearable tech everywhere? Where does privacy stops and end?
