A little bit more than a month ago, I was mentioning to you about the fact that the documentary “Taiwan Chewing Gum” I worked on co-producing here is Taipei, was selected for the Urban Nomads film festival. The festival schedule has been announced now and I thought that some of you might be interested to know when we would be screened.
The Urban nomads film festival is taking place this year from may 9 to 18th. A little bit more than 300 films have been submitted to the festival, and if I’m not mistaken, it’s about 60+ movies that will be screened during these nine days of festival. All movies will be project in a proper cinema downtown Taipei. If you are around, it is called the LUX Cinema and it is located in Ximending. (Map below)
Taiwan Chewing Gum – which you can watch here – will be screening in the short 2 division of the festival on Saturday 10th. The “Short 2” category projection starts at 1pm. We will be featured among other shorts such as: Stinky Tofu, Taipei recycler, Moonlight sonata, Spydate, Ghost story and Panacea. More details on these shorts can be found here.
Tickers are only 120NTD, so I highly recommend anyone around Taipei to come along and see our movie!
There are also loads of other great movies that will be screening. Best is to go check the schedule site (which is slightly buggy) that holds the full schedule and synopsis of every screened movie.
I’m definitely looking forward to see our film played on the big screen! This will definitely be an amazing first experience. Hopefully we’ll find some fans …
